Standing on RedMt via Norway Camp looking north. Drop to Imnaha then up to Cusick, No-Name Bump, Sentinel, Pete's Point, lastly Aneroid(far right brown pt.) and into McCully Basin. Wallowa Haute Route !!!!
NORWAY trips meet in Halfway, OR. at CarsonHouse. (6.7 miles north of Halfway on left marked by wooden sign for cabin with reflectors. Watch for PineCreek crossing after driveway. You know you're at the end of the road when you see snowmobile trailers and no pavement. If road becomes snowgroomed, you've gone too far!!). From end of paved road is a six mile drag in behind snowmobile, then skin in (at summer trailhead) is 2.5-miles gaining 2000 ft. Norway camp has a 20ft diameter double-decker yurt for sleeping ten guests upstairs and first floor serves as kitchen/dining area. All bedding is provided.
