WAH Guide Service

Hut-based Day Guide:

Enhance your hut visit with one of our local guides with intimate knowledge of terrain and snowpack conditions. Your guide will implement a daily ski tour plan based on groups interest and abilities ultimately determined by real-time snow conditions and weather.

$500 /Day Guide for up to 5; greater than five we will add a second guide and the cost is $200 each additional person.

Non-hut based Day Guide:

Join us for a day tour outing with a local Guide who can optimize your tour plan suited toward finding best snow conditions available or maybe a summit bid.

Typical option is launching from Salt Creek Summit (6200ft elev.) the Wallowa’s highest Snopark into Wing Ridge zone(https://wallowahuts.com/wing-ridge/). Day begins with companion rescue drill at beacon park; pack a lunch, snacks, and 2-liters of water. Limited alpine touring and splitboard equipment available,

Wonderful nightly accommodations exist in Joseph OR. 18miles or 25 min. commute. Enjoy downtown’s eateries and brewery by night, slay powder turns by day.
